The municipality is holding a special council meeting this evening at 6:00 PM to discuss flood mitigation in the Draper area. The meeting is an opportunity for residents to provide their input on the RMWB’s flood mitigation plans.

Residents are invited to attend the meeting in person at Jubilee Centre downtown at 9908 Franklin Avenue, or you can stream the proceedings through the RMWB website.

According to the Insurance Bureau of Canada, the April 2020 flood caused over $500 million in damage.
