Time is running out for employers to apply for the Canada Summer Jobs Wage Subsidy Grant.

The Summer Jobs Wage Subsidy is a program that helps employers offset the cost of wages if they provide summer jobs to Canadian youth aged 15-30.

The program aims to help young Canadians develop skills and gain paid work experience as they transition into the labour market.

The grants are available to not-for-profit organizations, the public sector, and private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees.

The deadline for grant applications is January 12.
