Canada is looking for our best and brightest teachers.

Nominations for the Prime Minister’s Excellence in Teaching awards are open from now until January 17.

There are two categories of awards: Teaching Excellence for innovative elementary and secondary school teachers, and Teaching Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Since 2016, when the awards began, over a dozen Alberta teachers have made the grade.
