Fort McMurray Airport Authority appoint new President & CEO

The Fort McMurray Regional Airport Authority has named a new President and CEO.

Denean Robinson has been given the top job at the Airport Authority, filling the seat left vacant by the departure of RJ Steenstra.

“She has six years of experience as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of Corporate Services with the organization,” says Mike Chwelos, FMAA Board Chair.

“In that time, she has displayed an unwavering commitment to the airport’s interests and success.”

Robinson’s goals for 2023 include diversifying revenue sources and continuing to establish YMM as Northern Alberta’s airport of choice, along with the continued expansion of domestic and transborder services.

Robinson has worked as the Interim CEO since Steenstra’s departure in September.
