ALERT, RCMP charge three Fort McMurray residents following investigation

Wood Buffalo RCMP along with the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) have arrested three Fort McMurray individuals following a months-long investigation.

ALERT Fort McMurray’s organized crime team received information back in September in relation to community concerns about drug trafficking.

The investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed on November 4th, 2022 at a residence and vehicle in Eagle Ridge, where 90 grams of cocaine, $4,045 in cash, and weapons were all seized.

Eight criminal offences, including suspected drug trafficking and weapons were laid against Jamie Martin (26), Shane White (37), Jaime Sieben (45).

“ALERT is committed to keeping these drugs off our streets,” said Staff Sgt. Ryan Harrison, ALERT Fort McMurray.

“We work hand-in-hand with our partners at Wood Buffalo RCMP to keep Fort McMurray a safe community.”

All three individuals have been released with their next scheduled court date in Fort McMurray on December 13, 2022.
