RCMP seeking assistance in locating driver of dirt bike who collided with pedestrian, vehicle

Wood Buffalo RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a dirt bike.

On August 24 around 8:50 p.m., RCMP received a complaint about a male driving dangerously on Signal Road, who then collided with a pedestrian.

The Mounties were notified that the dirt bike driver was driving in a grassy area around kids, and then collided with a vehicle nearby causing damage.

Police say the driver of the dirt bike lost control of the bike after colliding with the pedestrian and fled on foot.

The male is described as late teens/early 20s, standing approximately 5’8″, thin build, black hoodie, blue & white helmet, tan pants, and black backpack.

RCMP recovered the dirt bike on the scene, and the individual struck suffered minor injuries.
