Two individuals were arrested in downtown Fort McMurray Thursday morning following an armed robbery.
On Aug. 25, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to the call at roughly 8:20 a.m. to a residence in the downtown core.
Police arrived a few minutes following the call and successfully located two suspects attempting to flee the area.
No injuries were reported during the robbery.
Robin Lee Conrad Grandjambe of Fort McKay, and Reva Ann Marcel of Fort McMurray were arrested and are both facing the following charges:
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence
Robin Grandjambe was additionally charged with:
- Fail to Comply with a Release Order x2
- Possession of Fentanyl
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Unlawfully Possess Cannabis in a Public Place Exceeding 30 Grams
Reva Marcel was additionally charged with:
- Fail to Comply with a Release Order.
Following a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Robin Grandjambe was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on August 29. Reva Marcel was released from custody, with conditions, and is scheduled to appear in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on September 14.
