Two vehicles have been set ablaze a fortnight after two other vehicles set on fire

Two vehicles have been intentionally set on fire in the Parsons Creek area just two weeks after two vehicles were set on fire in Eagle Ridge.

Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to the call from Fire and Emergency Services on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at approximately 1:00 a.m.

Both vehicles had been parked on the street at the time of the fire.

No injuries were reported, and no nearby residences were damaged.

Cpl. Lacey Blair, Wood Buffalo RCMP spokesperson stated that they can’t confirm if the two fires have any relation to one another until after the investigation.

According to Blair, crews were on the scene roughly 20 minutes after the fires began.
