RMWB council is seeking nine voting members for the new Vehicle-For-Hire Committee.
The committee will work together to bring forward concerns and ideas to make improvements for passengers, drivers, and businesses, along with reviewing the Vehicle-For-Hire Bylaw to assess if it meets the needs of the industry and community.
The committee will consist of representatives from varying industries.
- Drive and brokerage (representing different sectors of the vehicle for hire industry)
- Airport and tourism
- Law enforcement
- Three public-at-large representing the urban and rural communities
Rounding out the new committee will be a member from the RMWB council and the Chief Administrative Officer, who will be non-voting members.
The deadline to apply is 12 p.m. Monday, August 15.
