Fort McMurray man has died following OHV incident

A Fort McMurray man has died following an off-highway vehicle rollover on Wednesday.

RCMP responded to the call at roughly 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday along with emergency services to a collision on Snow Eagle Drive.

The 44-year-old male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Cpl. Lacey Blair, a spokesperson for Wood Buffalo RCMP, said that the man had been riding by himself on one of the embankments on the north end of Snow Eagle Drive.

According to Cpl. Blair the man wasn’t found until a while after the incident occurred.

Wood Buffalo RCMP along with Traffic Services are continuing to investigate.
