The RMWB is looking for artists and creative individuals of all ages and skill levels for the 2022 Street Banner program.

The Municipality chose ‘Northern Spirit’ for the design theme this year, stating it’s a celebration of the languages, traditions, history, sports, activities, and landscapes that make up this place we call home.

Winning artwork will be selected by a panel of community organizations and will be displayed on street banners throughout the Region from fall 2022 to spring 2023, with the winners receiving a $500 artist design fee and a screened banner.

Art paper to complete your submission can be picked up and dropped off at the Culture and Social Development branch of the Jubilee Building, and rural artists can contact their local Municipal Offices for pick up and drop off.

Artwork submissions will be accepted until 4 p.m. Friday, July 29, and can be submitted digitally, hand-drawn, or as a painted art piece.
