Due to current and forecasted weather, the Fort McMurray & Lac La Biche Forest Area is now at a very high wildfire danger level and is under a Fire Advisory.
Any burning without a valid fire permit, other than a campfire is now prohibited in that area.
Under the fire advisory safe wood campfires, backyard fire pits, portable propane fire pits, gas or propane stoves and BBQs, and catalytic or infrared-style heaters are still permitted.
