Warm weather and sunny days have finally reached Fort McMurray and that means playing in water that isn’t frozen.

Spray parks have begun opening just in time for the Victoria Long Weekend.

Starting Friday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. the following spray parks will be open:

• Borealis Spray Park
• Howard Pew Spray Park
• Frank Lacroix Spray Park
• Parsons Creek North Spray Park
• Wood Buffalo Spray Park

The following spray parks are closed while municipal crews continue completing necessary work:

• Syncrude Athletic Park – KP Wong Spray Park
• Lakewood Spray Park
• Grayling Terrace Spray Park

The Municipality maintains over 50 parks, 55 sports fields and diamonds, 135 km of trails and 800 hectares of green space.

Help them out by keeping your garbage in bins and cleaning up after your pet.
