RCMP holding virtual open house to discuss policing priorities

Wood Buffalo RCMP is hosting their annual Policing Priorities virtual open house later this month.

Feedback was given earlier in the year by residents in an online survey that identified areas the public wanted to see improved upon.

Data collected from that survey has been reviewed by RCMP and is being considered for the 2022-23 policing priorities.

Mark Hancock, Officer in Charge of the Wood Buffalo Detachment says “the RCMP Policing Priorities Survey was an immense success with an incredible amount of participation from across the region. We sincerely thank residents for participating and demonstrating your community passion.”

The RCMP will be hosting the virtual event on April 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Residents can pre-register here, however, it’s not necessary, and can join in at any time.
