The RMWB is relaxing all winter maintenance zones (WMZ) indefinitely.

Along with the WMZ, parking restrictions are also no longer in effect.

The RMWB stated in a press release that winter maintenance will still continue on select streets that have a substantial amount of ice and snow on them.

Temporary no-parking signs will be set up 48 hours in advance for select streets that are set to receive winter maintenance.

The municipality is asking you to move your vehicle on the scheduled day of maintenance.

The Tower Road snow disposal site is scheduled to close Friday, April 1 due to WMZ subzones being relaxed.

Fort McMurray residents are being asked to take part in the 2022 Winter Maintenance Survey, anticipated to launch within the week.

The RMWB is giving residents the chance to have their say on how winter maintenance was conducted and give feedback.
