After being open for five days, turnout for the advance polls in the Fort McMurray-Lac La Biche By-Election is in.
Running from March 8-12, only 8.2 per cent of eligible voters cast their ballot early, or 1,966 of an eligible 24,048 people in the region.
Compared to the 2019 Provincial Election, 20.9 per cent of individuals voted early, or 5,358 of an eligible 25,622 people in the region.
Election day is Tuesday, March 15, with voting locations open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and you can find your polling station here.
