Cenovus Energy donates over $27,000 to Keyano College

Keyano College is receiving a generous donation from Cenovus Energy.

Totaling $27,500, the donation will support students who have completed their 4th Class Power Engineering CO-OP Theory Courses.

The donation will create five tuition vouchers, four covering full tuition, and one for partial tuition.

“These vouchers will relieve the financial burden our students have been dealing with since they have not been able to access co-op placements during the pandemic,” said Caitlin Hartigan, Dean of Trades & Heavy Industrial at Keyano College.

Trent Zacharias, Cenovus’ Director for Community & Indigenous Affairs said this assistance will help move five students one step closer to their goals.

“Cenovus believes in providing education and skills training to help young people prepare for their futures.”
