‘Hattie Pattie Finds a Home’: Proceeds from local book going towards SPCA

A local health care worker and her dog will soon be adding author to their resumes.

Hattie Pattie and her owner Jennifer Knuth, who’s a Registered Nurse at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in the Surgery/COVID Unit, are putting out a children’s book called, ‘Hattie Pattie Finds a Home’.

Knuth says the book is based on Hattie Pattie’s real life.

“She’s super excited all the time, she runs here, she runs there, and doesn’t really know what she’s doing.”

She adds that she hopes kids can take something positive out of the book.

“If you keep pushing through all your hurdles, there’s going to be something wonderful at the end of it.”

Through book sales, ‘Hattie Pattie Finds a Home’ will be donating $1 from every sale towards the Fort McMurray SPCA.
