New student registration for the 2022-2023 school year is now open. All sixteen schools within the Fort McMurray Public School Division are ready to welcome new students including their two alternative programs. Fort McMurray Christian School and Fort McMurray Islamic School. As well as French Immersion. 

The Fort McMurray Public School Division holds many options for students including an athletic academy, Indigenous programming, environmental education, mental health supports in all schools, plus before and after care in many elementary schools.  

The Division also provides Kindergarten and Early Learning Childhood Development in all elementary schools. With the option for Reggio-inspired initiatives, where the environment is key in teaching students.
