Santas Anonymous along with the RMWB Transit Services team partnered together to collect donations for families in the region.

Starting Nov. 18, Santas Anonymous visited numerous local businesses, organizations and schools across the RMWB to collect two buses full of donated toys and gifts.

Santas Anonymous is a student-led initiative at Father Mercredi School and has been in operation since 1984, with the toy drive going six years strong.

“Thanks to all the hard work of our volunteers, local businesses, and our students, we’re able to pack our hampers with toys for our families in need for another year,”  said Lana Tremblay, Santas Anonymous Coordinator.

This year saw 29 organizations get involved, including help from volunteers Buddy the Elf, Mayor Sandy Bowman, and RMWB CAO Jamie Doyle.
