‘Toys for Tickets’ program returns for a 6th year

From Dec. 1 to Dec. 15, whenever you park in a zone you’re not supposed to in Fort McMurray, you could be helping a young child get a toy this Christmas.

In the first two weeks of December, whenever anyone receives a parking ticket, all the revenue from those tickets paid will go toward the Toys for Tickets campaign.

The campaign that is put on by the RMWB is in support of the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family Program.

Toys for Tickets was launched in 2016 and has raised over $14,000 for local families in need to date.
