Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 have increased slightly across the province.

As of yesterday, there was a total of 696 (+5) people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 155 (-4).

There are 6,693 (-218) active cases in Alberta with 131 (-20) in Fort McMurray, and 19 (-1) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 5.1 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 12.1 per cent.

To date, there has been 3,133 (+14) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
