Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to decrease across the province.

As of Thursday, there was a total of 765 (-14) people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 180 (-5).

There are 8,387 (-229) active cases in Alberta with 190 (+7) in Fort McMurray, and 25 (-3) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 5.9 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 12.8 per cent.

To date, there has been 3,085 (+21) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
