Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to decrease across the province.

As of yesterday, there was a total of 779 (-31) people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have increased to 185 (+1).

There are 8,387 (-346) active cases in Alberta with 183 (+1) in Fort McMurray, and 28 (-1) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 5.9 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 13.1 per cent.

To date, there has been 3,085 (+21) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
