Active COVID-19 Cases Continue To Rise In RMWB

Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to decrease across the province.

As of yesterday, there was a total of 964 (-17) people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 218 (-7).

There are 11,402 (-900) active cases in Alberta, with 248 (+7) in Fort McMurray, and 14 (+2) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 7.4 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 17.6 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,988 (+22) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
