Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue have decreased across the province.

As of Thursday, there was a total of 1000 (-27) people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 229 (-7).

There are 12,978 (-445) active cases in Alberta, with 240 (-10) in Fort McMurray, and 8 (+3) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 8.1 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 18.5 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,946 (+16) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
