Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to decrease across the province.

As of yesterday, there was a total of 1027 (-11) people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 236 (-5).

There are 13,423 (-795) active cases in Alberta, with 250 (-4) in Fort McMurray, and 5 (-1) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 8.2 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 18.5 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,930 (+29) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
