Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue have decreased across the province.
As of yesterday, there was a total of 1053 (-48) people in the hospital due to the virus.
ICU numbers have decreased to 242 (-8).
There are 15,295 (-2,544) active cases in Alberta, with 267 (-43) in Fort McMurray, and 9 (-8) in rural areas.
The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 8.4 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 17.9 per cent.
To date, there has been 2,863 (+33) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
