Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue have increased across the province.

As of yesterday, there was a total of 1101 people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 250.

There are 17,839 active cases in Alberta, with 310 in Fort McMurray, and 17 in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 9.3 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 18.3 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,830 deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
