Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue have increased across the province.

As of yesterday, there was a total of 1094 people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 252.

There are 19,456 active cases in Alberta, with 350 in Fort McMurray, and 24 in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 10.3 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 20.6 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,778 deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
