You have a chance to meet some of the candidates running in the municipal election.

The Fort McMurray Construction Association is hosting a meet and greet at the Fort McMurray Golf Club on Wednesday October 6th, from 6pm to 9pm.

“The meet and greet provides an opportunity for residents to talk with the candidates in an unscripted environment,” said Keith Plowman, FMCA president.

“With a large number of candidates, especially for Ward 1, Wood Buffalo will be voting in a municipal council that has many new faces.”

The election is on October 18th, with advance polls running from now to the 15th.

Drive thru voting is also available for the first time on two select dates.
