Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to rise across the province.

As of Thursday, there were 3 more people admitted to hospitals due to the virus, bringing the total to 1061.

ICU numbers have increased, from 226 to 243.

There are 20,040 (-140) active cases in Alberta, with 239 (+12) in Fort McMurray, and 13 (+2) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 10.1 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 18.5 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,622 (+11) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and one in the rural areas.
