Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to rise across the province.

Over the past 3 days, there were 43 more people admitted to hospitals due to the virus, bringing the total to 954.

ICU numbers have increased slightly, from 215 to 216.

There are 20,614 active cases in Alberta, with 219 in Fort McMurray, and 13 in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 10.8 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 19.2 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,545 deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and one in the rural areas.
