Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to rise across the province.

In the past 24 hours, there were 19 more people admitted to hospitals due to the virus, bringing the total to 822.

ICU numbers are on the rise, with 14 more people being admitted, bringing the total to 212.

There are 18,265 active cases in Alberta, with 207 in Fort McMurray, and 21 in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 11.6 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 21 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,471 deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and one in the rural areas.
