Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to rise across the province.

In the past 24 hours, there were 55 more people admitted to hospitals due to the virus, bringing the total to 877.

ICU numbers are on the rise, with 6 more people being admitted, bringing the total to 218.

There are 18,421 active cases in Alberta, with 206 in Fort McMurray, and 19 in the rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 11.5 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 20.9 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,495 deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and one in the rural areas.
