Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to rise across the province.

From Sept 10th-12th, there were 117 more people admitted to hospitals due to the virus, bringing the total to 803.

ICU numbers are on the rise, with 29 more people being admitted, bringing the total to 198.

There are 18,395 active cases in Alberta, with 209 in Fort McMurray, and 19 in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 11.7 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 20.7 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,462 deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and one in the rural areas.
