You can now apply to receive a special ballot for this year’s municipal election.

Also known as mail-in ballots, they’re available for residents with physical disabilities, who’re an election worker, candidate, campaign worker or scrutineer, and won’t be in the community during the election.

Eligible individuals can either head to the municipality’s website, email them at [email protected] or call the Pulse Line at 780-743-7000 until 5 p.m. on October 15 to apply for a ballot.

They’ll be available for pickup on September 20 after the nomination period ends.

The advance polls will run from October 4 to October 15 with the election taking place on October 18.

The special ballots will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Election Day.
