RCMP Charge Two Individuals For Allegedly Trafficking Fentanyl & Cocaine

Wood Buffalo RCMP are charging two Fort McMurray residents for allegedly trafficking drugs.

On August 5, the Mounties arrested 39-year-old Joel Murray Hanley and 37-year-old Ashley Jane Doucette after an investigation began in July.

Hanley was charged with two counts of trafficking suspected fentanyl and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Doucette was charged with three counts of trafficking suspected cocaine, possession of cocaine, and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Hanley remains in custody and will make his next court appearance on August 24, while Doucette has been released and will appear in court on August 31.
