Keyano College has found its new President and CEO.
Jatinder (Jay) Notay will officially take over the position on October 4.
He’s coming from North West College in Battleford, Saskatchewan where he also served as President and CEO.
“Mr. Notay brings over 25 years of post-secondary experience to the position, roles including college president, vice-president academic, and dean, for urban and rural post-secondary institutions in Saskatchewan, Ontario, and British Columbia,” said Shelley Powell, Keyano Board Chair.
“We believe that Jay will see Keyano College through these challenging economic times and provide the direction and leadership to make the College even more successful.”
Notay currently holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Education degree from Nipissing University, and is currently a Doctor of Education candidate in Education Administration with the University of Western Ontario.
He is set to take over for Dale Mountain who served as Keyano’s Interim President and CEO for over a year after Trent Keough resigned in May, 2020.
He didn’t want to comment at this time about his future with the post-secondary school.
Until Notay arrives in October, Mountain will continue to serve as Interim.
