RMWB Temporarily Closing Off Water Access From Snye For Dredging Work

You won’t be able to launch your boat from the Snye for a two week stretch.

The RMWB is completing dredging work along the mouth to maintain water access to the Clearwater River.

This process, which will get started on August 3, will clear out sediment deposits which have been building up.

Starting on Wednesday, the parking lot and waterfront area will be also closed from time to time as crews mobilize, haul materials, and more.

When crews aren’t working, the public will be allowed in the area, however, the boat launch will remain closed.

Signage will be posted with the public being reminded to keep safe distance from the equipment.

All other recreation spaces and amenities at Snye Park will remain open, while the Tom Weber Park and Raphael Cree Park boat launches will continue to be available.
