Residents Running Out Of Time To Give Feedback On Transit Services

You’re running out of time to give your feedback on the region’s transit services.

The RMWB has been looking for residents to give their thoughts as they plan to create a Master Plan which will guide all aspects of transit services over the next 5-10 years.

An online survey has been available for several weeks and closes on Friday.

Joel Trudell, Senior Manager of Transit for the RMWB, tells Mix News this is a great opportunity to see some changes happen.

“This is a key point in time for users of this service and residents.”

He says the plan will only be successful if they hear directly from those who use it. Trudell adds they also want to hear from those who don’t use the bus.

Changes will mostly likely won’t happen this year.

“This is not going to happen overnight, as much as I would like to wave a magic wand and say we’re going to fix X, Y, and Z,” added Trudell.

“This is going to be a bit more of a process that’s going to take a few years to make it way through.”

Trudell says they will most likely look for more public feedback during the fall.
