RCMP Charge 13-Year-Old For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Two Boys

Wood Buffalo RCMP are charging a male teenager for allegedly sexually assaulting two boys.

Two incidents took place in Timberlea, the first happening on April 20 on the bike path intersection near Crown Creek Lane and Rattlepan Creek Crescent with the second taking place on May 10 on the sidewalk near the intersection of Violet Street and Trillium Road.

The Mounties ended up arresting the unnamed 13-year-old on June 3, charging him with two counts of sexual assault.

He was temporarily held in police custody but has since been released.

He’s scheduled to make his next court appearance on July 20 in Fort McMurray Youth Justice Court.

Meanwhile, RCMP are continuing to investigate.
