Holy Trinity Grade 10-12 Students Moving To At-Home Learning Next Week After COVID-19 Outbreak

Students in grades 10 to 12 at Holy Trinity will be temporarily going back to virtual learning next week.

The school is currently dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak after five individuals contracted the virus from the community.

This has resulted in full classes needing to self-isolate.

The school is currently in a position where they can’t staff Holy Trinity effectively, resulting in them moving the older grades to online learning from Monday to Thursday.

There is no school on Friday with spring break taking place the following week.

More information about next week’s schedule can be found on the Fort McMurray Catholic School District’s website.

Meanwhile, those in grades 7 to 9 will continue learning at school.

The FMCSD says they expect everyone to return to in-person teaching on April 12.
