Wood Buffalo RCMP are warning the public about harassment and vigilantism.

This comes after innocent homeowners were targeted after ALERT arrested a Fort McMurray couple for alleged sex crimes.

The Mounties note the homeowners address was posted on social media and have been the target of multiple reports of harassment.

They’re reminding residents that any acts of harassment and vigilantism are illegal and won’t be tolerated.
