On-street parking won’t be allowed this week in multiple neighbourhoods across the community.

The RMWB is activating subzones 1 and 2, through their winter maintenance zone program, from January 25 – January 29.

Residents in these zones won’t be allowed to park on their street for one day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The number of trucks removing snow has been doubled to help speed up the process.

Once all the snowbanks in a subzone have been removed, crews will focus on plowing.

Residents are being asked when parking on the street to do so as close to snowbanks as possible to allow for the neighbourhood streets to stay as wide as possible.
