Wood Buffalo RCMP are looking for a man suspected of trying to steal a vehicle downtown.

Around 4 p.m. on January 13, a man allegedly entered a running vehicle after the driver entered a business on Franklin Avenue.

He reportedly got around two metres away before noticing two children in the back, eventually deciding to flee on foot.

Neither was injured in the incident.

The Mounties are continuing to investigate the incident.
