The RMWB is relaxing its winter maintenance zone program for the holidays.

From December 24 to January 3, residents can park on their street every day throughout the week.

Subzones 1 and 2 will be active for the first three days of next week, December 21 to 23.

When active, residents won’t be allowed to park on their street for one day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Crews will still be plowing streets and clearing snow throughout the next two weeks.

The municipality expects WMZ subzones will be re-activated for the week of January 4 to 8.

The neighbourhoods which have gone the longest without maintenance will receive first priority.
