Stuff-A-Bus Campaign Raises Over $2,300 and Around 1,000 Toys

Santa and Mrs. Claus visited Fort McMurray on Friday to collect toys for Santa’s Anonymous.

The pair teamed up with Transit Services to stop by businesses and organizations for the annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign.

The student-led initiative out of Father Mercredi collects donations each year to help families in need at Christmas.

This year’s campaign received over $2,000 in gift cards, $300 in cash, and around 1,000 toys.

“Even though this year may have been one of the toughest for our community, people came through as they always have,” said Jennifer Pope, director of the local Santas Anonymous campaign.

“We are so grateful and honoured that this community continues to support us.”
