A second man is being charged for allegedly breaking in and stealing from two businesses.

Wood Buffalo RCMP arrested 23-year-old Chad Davis Cardinal on Thursday in connection to the break and enters of a local business in the Gregoire Lake Reserve and a gas station in Anzac back in December 2018.

He’s since been charged with three counts of breaking and entering, two counts of mischief over $5,000, one count of mischief under $5,000, one count of theft over $5,000, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Cardinal remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on November 30.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Billy Thompson Cardinal was also arrested earlier this month.

He was also charged with breaking and entering, theft, mischief, and possession of property obtained by crime.
