RCMP Arrest 40-Year-Old Woman For Allegedly Robbing Timberlea Business

Wood Buffalo RCMP are charging a 40-year-old woman with robbery after she allegedly stole from a business in Timberlea.

The Mounties were called to Millenium Drive, between Confederation Way and Powder Drive, around 4 p.m. on Wednesday after an undisclosed amount of money was taken from a property.

No one was injured in the incident.

The woman reportedly fled on foot and was later found in a vehicle, after getting a description from a business employee, pulling up to a residence on Beaton Place.

As a result, Tina Louise Lewis was arrested and charged with robbery and intent to commit an indictable offence while disguised.

She ended up having an in-custody hearing on Thursday and was kept under police custody.

Lewis is scheduled to appear in court on December 7.
